The series

The early Text and Time paintings establish the visual grammar of Archetypal Expressionism. Figures, ideograms, fragments of writing and cultural memory meet in frontal constructions whose intense colour carries both thought and emotion.

Painted between 2004 and 2018, these works treat the image as an active archive. Ancient signs and contemporary references coexist without hierarchy, forming a vivid language that stands between figuration and abstraction.
